LYO at RLC
Sunday, May 20th from 6:01-8:01pm
The Lutheran Youth Organization meets on Sunday evenings from 6:01-8:01pm for worship, reflection, discussion, and meditation.
LYO uses this time to find ways to grow closer to God and follow the message of Jesus. Sometimes it is spent in discussion or quiet reflection, other times in celebration. Always, in the name of God.

LYO Garage Sale collection begins Monday, May 21st. Check this link for instructions on acceptable items and how to sort them and where to place them in order to save the set-up team many hours of effort.
If you have any special items to include in our ads, please contact Janie at 309-825-7208 or via email immediately. Also, let Janie know if you need help with transporting bulky items. All unsold items will be given to charitable organizations.
The sale will take place on Saturday, June 16th from 8am to 1pm. Please bring or buy treasures to help pay for building supplies for the LYO's servant trip to Appalachia in July!

Mark your calendars and come out to help the LYO! The annual LYO Garage Sale will take place on Saturday, June 16th from 8am to 1pm. We will need help from 7am through 4pm.
Please consider volunteering to help, donating items for the sale, or finding some great deals to help the LYO purchase building supplies for our servant trip to Appalachia in July!
LYO Servant Trip to Sunset Gap
Sunday July 14th-21st
The LYO Servant Trip to Sunset Gap is July 14th to 21st. We believe that any ministry should include short-term mission/servant trips. These trips offer amazing potential for growth. Servant trips are really short-term "Kingdom" experiences preparing us for long-term "Kingdom" living. The purpose, serving others, being uncomfortable, taking risks, giving something up, building community, spending time with "the least of these" can transform us. Every part of a short-term servant trip offers us the opportunity to fully understand what it means to be a disciple and follower of Jesus.
